According to feedback by attendees, it was I success, and I think the same. We had a lot of interesting talks, a very nice location, very interesting coffee-break-chatter, two pumpkings (Nicholas Clark and Leo Tötsch), 50-30 attendees and a lot of fun!
Some highlights I definitly remember althoug I'm still lagging quite a lot of sleep in spite of having slept all afternoon:
Leo implementing a new parrot multimethod live on the podium
Nicholas talking (not all too fast) about Perl development (even if some german-speakers might have been confused about perl-five-eight-naught)
The famous Wuerschtl-Ziaga (don't ask!)
Richard F___y (name anonymized so I don't get shot for telling, and anyway, you didn't hear it from me) complaining about wasting one hour a day in boring meetings and having to work at his office-desk instead of somewhere on the moon.
Unicycle lessions by Richard Lippman
Watching Leo drink beer with the same speed (and in the same quantitiy) as he's producing parrot code
and of course all the people attending and talking!
I'll now collect slides, pictures etc and make them available on the site as soon as a) I get them and b) pm.org is working again.
Expect another workshop next year!
