On thursday I found a message on our answering machine about an invitation to a friends wedding-eve party (the actual wedding will take place in summer..). I sort of forgot to call back for further info until some hours ago. Seems that the plan is to meet up at Westbahnhof an cruise around in a rented small bus with plenty of cooled drinks and to 'see what will happen'...
After some considerations I decided not to go. I do not fancy mindless drinking (and it sounded like that was at least part of the plan). And though I do not know the friends of my friend very well, it seems reasonable that they end up in a strip club or something. Which I do not fancy at all.
In fact the thought of beeing (most likely) the only more or less sober person with a bunch of drunks in a strip bar didn't sound like a nice evening...
So I stayed home and now have time to sort out some Austrian Perl Workshop issues (like the extended hack-a-thon at Leo's place) and prepare a tiramisu for a family event tomorrow (Some catholic thing involving Barbaras cousin..)
