I'm currently sitting in the Spires in Belfast waiting for YAPC::Europe to begin...
Yesterday was travelling day, I left together with Leo from Vienna at 11:40, arrived in London two hours later. After talking extensive walks/bus tours through Heathrow, we arrived at the gate where the plane to Belfast departs. There where allready various Perl people there, and some more arrived after us.
So when we (finally, as our flight was delayed) arrived in Belfast (after a rather adventurous landing involving nearly scraping some houses roofs near the airport (or so it seemed)), we filled the bus to the city.
After checking in (and meeting more people) I went to the YAPC Pub (formerly 'The Crown'), drank some cider/beer, went for Italian food, drank some (read: a lot) more in the YAPC Pub, went to bed, slept, had breakfast (met a lot more people), went to venue, discovered that the wireless worked painlessly and wrote this journal entry.
And now I should really liste to Marty...
